Creative profiles can really improve the look of your photos when used correctly. Often times, creative profiles and presets get a bad reputation because they're not used properly and can seriously ruin your photos. I've been using creative profiles in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop since they were announced in April 2018 and want to share 3 tips on how to correctly use them. I'm not saying that every photo needs to have a creative profile applied or that each profile has to be used at full strength. All I'm saying is that, when used correctly, creative profiles can have amazing results on your photos.

Have you ever wondered why your landscape photos may not have the impact that you would like? This is something that Ive been thinking about a lot lately, especially while editing some of my older shots. One of the common elements that jumped out was that my backgrounds (and sometimes my foregrounds) werent nearly as impactful as I remember them being. Mountains that I knew were gigantic looked tiny in my frame. Fortunately, fixing these things is pretty easy thanks to the Free Transform tool in Adobe Photoshop (or any other layer-based editing app).
