On this new Fast tutorial series, we will see how to use 3dsmax to convert a 2d image (can be jpg, png, or other formats) in to a spline or vector, to create a 3d logo or image. Most tutorials showcase how to rasterize the image using photoshop or Illustrator, and import this in to 3dsmax, but its totally possible (and faster) to do the vectorization directly in 3ds Max.

We will use uvw map, Section Spline, Relax Spline, Optimize spline, and extrude or bevel modifiers.
