On this video we will see what we can do now with 3ds Max 2022 new Smart Extrude.
I got a lot ( A LOT) of comments referencing blender as usual. But sometimes its totally impossible to argue with some people. By no means I am trying to say in this video that Max is better than Blender. We all know Blender has great tools (and some of them better than in max) , but trying to convince me (or anybody) that the extrude manifold is better than the smart extrude, its only trying to spread missinformation, or trying to argue without trying any of both tools. Talking exclusively about this tools, there is no argument you can do where blender does it better than in max. We can have discussions about general modeling tools, shortcuts, UI, or obviously that blender sculpt mode is ages more advance to whatever its in max, but not about the extrude. So instead of replying individually, sometimes a video you can redirect people to its easier.
(this video its done in max 2022 and in Blender 2.92 (I checked 2.93 alpha and extrude manifold its still the same), so this video in the future I am pretty sure will be not valid anymore, but as of today, this are the actual tools on both applications.
