Sometimes we need to use components from different libraries of MATLAB Simulink. In such cases we cannot directly connect components from different libraries together. We need to use PS-simulink converter and in many cases we shall combine that with other blocks to reach what we want. For example by replacing a dc source with a controlled voltage source in which the signal of the controlled voltage source coming from a voltage measurement of a physical system, we can connect the output of that voltage source to the input of a system which originally was constructed with a dc source.
