After a long time, I will gradually be back. Another heavy month is ahead, but after that the workload should decrease, and hopefully I can make more videos again.
In this video, I show how the length of the breakout point can influence the shape of the streamers. There is a clear effect on the streamer shape, although the streamers here are not very long. It is possible that if I increase the input voltage, the streamer shapes may change again, but at this voltage level the difference is quite noticeable.
In the video, there are also many randomly shaped streamers in all three cases. These are caused by the waveform, since I randomly clip the sine wave. Sometimes the waveform is cut in the middle, which creates a distorted shape. However, when the trigger starts from the beginning of the sine wave, the patterns shown in this video and the pictures are probably the dominant ones.
