The Byrna SD is a massive pistol, and it is just too uncomfortable to carry every day all day, especially while driving. When sitting, with a Byrna SD carried in a holster in the inner waist band, it starts cutting off blood flow to your groin area and it presses on your pubic bone, which could cause injury over a long enough time frame, or it could just make you not want to carry it around all day everywhere.
I've tried every solution, and this is the only thing that works, other than a satchel. I have been using a Rothco hip pouch with some slits cut in the back so that I can clip the pouch onto my belt, and that works great, but it's not so comfortable driving and it sticks out from your hip so you get caught up on doorways and it gets in the way of the seatbelt, and it's not quick or easy to put on or off when your belt is cinched up tight.
Here's my best solution to improve my preparedness: a belly band. Holster is made by Shadow Defensive. Weaponlight is the O-light BALDR mini with the green laser. The thing sticking out from the barrel is the mercy less lethal 12 g CO2 adapter.
PS, discard the pepper balls that come with your Byrna, they will break in the mag eventually and ruin your day. Get Duke brands pepper balls for grimberg Kinetic-CS Glassbreakers with the John wixson 14 round diuble stack mags.
