Diamond abrasives don't need much maintenance, but a little goes a long way.
As you sharpen, metal particles called swarf build up on the surface. A quick scrub with a wire brush or stiff bristled brush is all it takes to keep your diamond plates cutting their best.
If your ceramic rod starts turning gray, don't worry. That's completely normal. A simple pencil eraser will clean it right up.
Simple maintenance. Better performance. More sharp knives.
