The original RMX automatic requires strong closed retention so the blade can’t open in your pocket.

A good manual needs something different — a detent you can actually pull through.

So the solution was geometry.

Change the blade profile and the knife can run dedicated manual, with smooth thumbstud or fuller deployment.
