Torchbearer Cory Suzuki takes honoring our Nisei WWII veterans to a new level with his detailed work on their grave markers at our annual spring Evergreen Cemetery cleanup. Cory learned from his mom, who taught him to care for the headstone of his grandfather who served in the Korean War — his other grandfather served in WWII.
This week we are thrilled to welcome Cory and his fellow 2026 Torchbearer cohort at the 4th Annual National Torchbearer Spring Convening, which will be held in Little Tokyo.
