The easiest way to check voicemail on a Samsung phone is by opening the Phone app and pressing and holding the “1” key, or by using your carrier’s visual voicemail app for quick access and message management
Method 1: Using the Dial Pad
Open the Phone app on your Samsung device.
Press and hold the “1” key on the dial pad. This will automatically call your voicemail.
If prompted, enter your voicemail password or PIN.
Follow the voice prompts to listen to, save, or delete your messages
If pressing and holding “1” doesn't connect you to voicemail, you may need to set up your voicemail number:
In the Phone app, tap the three dots in the top-right corner and select Settings → Voicemail → Voicemail number.
Enter the correct number provided by your carrier and tap OK
Method 2: Using a Voicemail or Visual Voicemail App
Many carriers offer a dedicated visual voicemail app for Samsung devices:
Open the app drawer and search for “voicemail” or install the app from your carrier if it is not preloaded.
Open the app and log in if required.
Tap on a voicemail to listen to it or, if available, read the transcript
Method 3: Accessing Voicemail from Another Device
If you don’t have your Samsung phone at hand, you can still check your voicemail:
Dial your mobile number from another phone.
Press the key indicated (usually # or *) during the voicemail greeting.
Enter your voicemail password and follow the prompts to listen
