You can transfer photos from your Android or Samsung phone to a USB drive using either a direct USB connection with an OTG adapter or via a computer.

Method 1 — Direct Transfer Using USB OTG (On-The-Go)
Many Android and Samsung phones support USB OTG, which allows the phone to connect directly to a USB drive.

Check OTG compatibility: Most modern Samsung phones support OTG, but you can confirm in your phone’s specifications or by testing with an OTG adapter.

Get a USB OTG adapter: This connects your phone’s USB-C or micro-USB port to a standard USB drive.

Connect the USB drive: Insert the USB drive into the OTG adapter and plug it into your phone.

Access files on the USB: Open the My Files app on Samsung phones or Files by Google. The USB drive should appear in the storage options.
Select and copy photos: Navigate to Internal Storage DCIM Camera or your gallery folders.

Select the photos or albums you want to transfer.
Move or copy to USB: Tap Move or Copy, then choose the USB drive as the destination. Wait for the transfer to complete.
