How to charge AirPods Pro 2
Put both AirPods into the charging case.
Close the lid. The AirPods will begin charging automatically.
Charge the case using any of these methods:
Plug a USB-C cable into the bottom of the case (newer AirPods Pro 2 cases).
Or, if you have the earlier Lightning version, use a Lightning cable.
Place the case on any Qi wireless charger.
Place the case on an Apple Watch Charger.
If you have a compatible model, you can also use a MagSafe Charger.
Understanding the status light
Amber (orange) while charging: The case or AirPods are still charging.
Green: Fully charged.
No light: The case isn't connected to power or the light has timed out (this is normal).
Do the AirPods charge with the lid open or closed?
Yes. The AirPods charge anytime they're seated correctly in the case. Closing the lid is recommended because it protects them and conserves the case battery, but they will still charge with the lid open.
