Step 1 — Choose a Keyboard
Android devices support both native keyboards like Gboard (Google Keyboard) or Samsung Keyboard and third-party keyboards such as Microsoft SwiftKey, Grammarly, or Fleksy. Third-party keyboards often offer additional features like swipe typing, AI-assisted predictions, multilingual support, advanced themes, stickers, and clipboard management
To install a new keyboard:
Open the Google Play Store.

Tap Install and follow any setup instructions provided by the keyboard’s app, such as enabling permissions for typing, microphone, or cloud sync if needed
Step 2 — Enable the Keyboard
Even after installation, the new keyboard must be enabled:

Depending on your device, go to System Languages & input On-screen keyboard or General Management Language & input Virtual keyboard on Samsung devices.
Select Manage keyboards and toggle on the newly installed keyboard
Step 3 — Set the Keyboard as Default
In the same Languages & input menu, tap Default keyboard.
Choose the keyboard you want as the default (e.g., Gboard, SwiftKey)
Open a text app like Messages or Gmail to ensure the new keyboard is active.
