It may just be with pikachu's so get rid of all your pikachu's and even raichu's from your pokedex to be safe then find a pikachu first try the code then engage and it may be a ditto. Try the code orange red blue purple. It may only work on special pikachu's so if a pika has the robotic voice, run away, enter the color code with purple last, then reengage it and it should be a ditto. For the color code try the order orange red blue purple.
