This is my prototype solar generator. In particular, a solar generator for amateur ham radio applications. My goal is to run my IC 7300 and IC 705 independently from the grid. Moreover, taking my IC 7300 on the field was a top priority with the intention of having additional power options for charing my phone and HT radios when in an emergency situation. In this video I will describe my over all design - briefly. I have another video that goes step-by-step on my choices of hardware in designing my solar generator. Finally, I'm using my solar generator on Field Day to run my IC 7300 during the day and my IC 705 at night. I hope it will work! #solargenerator #hamradiio #wd #outdoors
