A client off ours had an awkward area in their home, between a half bath and the garage entry door. We decided this would be the perfect place for a custom Dog feeding station built in. They have two large dogs, so they needed plenty of storage space for all the dog food and treats. Originally we were going to build a bench with storage underneath for shoes, but along the way, we decided the space would be better suited for larger storage with a work area and a place to display the nice dog food container they had purchased. As you can see in the end, we added a small handle on the drawer that you can hook with your foot to pull the drawer open, so they wouldn't have to lean down every time.
