I made this 5 foot tall deck as an access point from my kitchen after converting an old bay window into a patio door. The deck is free standing (not attached to the house), is 5 feet wide by 10 feet long and features an equal width staircase to the side. Free plans and a full bill of materials can be downloaded for free on my website.
