The vision pro 45 has built in lidar used for auto focusing thanks to the motor driven z axis which moves the whole machine up and down.
The machine is fully encased which means no stray light beams will escape and blind you as well it has a built in exhaust fan for fume extraction.
One of the most brilliant parts of this machine is the HD camera mounted overhead which captures whatever you’ve thrown in the machine into your software.
The machine uses the we create’s MAKEIT software, which works great and is very user friendly, but the vision pro is also fully compatible with lightburn software.
The makeit software is where I feel the most value comes from this machine as it is just such a polished user friendly experience.
The machine has a large working surface of about 20” by 12.5”.
The rotary attachment can be installed in about 1 minute. The rotary is very nice as it uses a 3-jaw-chuck design to hold on to the stock.
