One of the most underrated and overlooked films ever made, and one of my absolute favorites, period.
So yeah, having it on 35mm is pretty dank.
Sadly, no MPAA rating tag. But still a cool Deluxe Hollywood tail leader!

No, your eyes are not deceiving you. This is an open-matte print.
For a Christmas 2009-released movie finished on a digital intermediate and essentially reliant on visual effects, that’s shocking.
But that’s just one of the surprises and joys of being a 35mm film collector :D
Plus, I have fond memories of seeing this on 35mm at my local AMC when it was initially released. So this is my closest thing to a time portal back to that simpler period.
Keep an ear out for Alvin’s laugh after the post-credit scene extending to the MPAA rating tag!
