Took a mini road trip to the Gateway Film Center in Columbus, OH earlier today and saw Quentin Tarantino’s latest in glorious 35mm film - the way it was meant to be seen. Awesome experience! Here’s the 35mm ending I managed to capture for you folks. There was a cleaner in the theater so I apologize if the camera movements are a little erratic; I didn’t want to make it seem as though I was pirating the film. I’m simply doing this for entertainment and archival purposes for you guys who aren’t lucky enough to head to a theater that’s showing this movie in 35mm.

Unfortunately it seems as though the leader was cut before the rating tag could end. Which is too bad, because I’d die to see what one of the leaders looks like in 2019. Have things changed much? I guess I’ll have to ask FotoKem who’s responsible for making the prints.

Film is not dead, people! In fact, it is very much alive. Support it as much as you can! This movie is awesome, too, so even more reason to scout out a cinema near you to support the film format. We need more filmmakers like Quentin Tarantino who are film activists in this overwhelmingly digital day and age. There’s a market for film, and people like me are a part of that market.

Of course, as usual I don’t own anything, Sony Pictures does. Again, I’m only uploading this for the entertainment of viewers and archival of 35mm goodness.

TL;DR: 35mm is awesome.
