Optimism is a muscle, you just need to learn how to stretch and grow it. Research shows that 40% of our happiness comes from intentional activities. What? That just means stuff you do on purpose! 50% is genetic (you’re welcome / sorry) and 10% is circumstances (oh no, the President tweeted about X this morning).
