This is what I am doing to start building my freelancing agency as a self taught developer.

Even if you are new to programming. I will cover what I am doing to create my first offering two clients, and what approach I am taking.

I go in depth in to these topics that will help you get started if freelancing even if you are just starting to code or are a self taught developer.

1. Find a suitable theme: Look for simple themes on platforms like Tailwind Awesome or Theme Forest that closely match your client's website requirements. Choose a theme that can be easily customized and updated.

2. Familiarize yourself with headless CMS: Explore different headless CMS options like Strapi to add a backend to your project. Consider using your favorite CMS that will be easy for your clients to update and manage their website content.

3. Build your project: Utilize the chosen theme as a starting point to create the project. Customize the theme according to your client's specifications and requirements. Use the headless CMS to connect the frontend and backend, allowing your clients to easily update and manage their website content.

4. Choose a deployment solution: Research and select a deployment solution that fits your needs, such as Vercel, Netlify, or Strapi Cloud. Opt for a solution that simplifies the deployment process, saving you time and effort.

5. Identify your target clients: Define your target audience, such as small businesses, restaurants, coffee shops, etc., that require informational websites. Focus on a specific niche to start with and expand from there.

6. Determine your offering: Decide on the specific service you will offer, such as building small business informational websites using next.js, a chosen theme, and a headless CMS. Concentrate on delivering this one service instead of trying to cater to all client demands.

7. Market and promote your services: Utilize word-of-mouth marketing by leveraging your existing network and client referrals. Create content on platforms like YouTube or blogs showcasing your skills and attract potential clients. Participate in relevant forums and engage with small business owners. Utilize social media platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter for promotion.
