Power Guy has been streaming Mega Man & Bass and I had so much fun watching his stream that I felt inspired to go back to that game...and face some old demons!
Some things to keep in mind about this approach:
1) I'm using Counter Attacker, an item you can buy at the shop. When equipped, our attacks deal two additional units of damage per hit, but it only works at low health (ie when we have 7 or less hp).
2) Spread Drill does more damage if we _don't_ split it. Only use splitting if you feel you are going to miss your shot.
3) Besides giving i-frames, Ligthning Bolt also helps with platforming. That might be especially useful when playing as Mega Man and some platforms are destroyed.

We are back to Mega Man: Rock N Roll, a gorgeous fangame created by Dennis Engelhard. So gorgeous that Mega Man doesnt want to destroy anything in Tide Mans stage.
The world needs that beauty. Aesthetics leading to Ethics. Relatable.
