Playing games on your Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and worried about a weak Wi-Fi connection?
The Check Wi-Fi status for gaming routine in Modes and routines can automatically check your Wi-Fi signal while you're playing a game.
In the default routine, when your Wi-Fi signal is 2 bars or weaker, the phone:
* Turns Wi-Fi off
* Turns Mobile data on
* Shows a notification with the detected Wi-Fi signal strength

When the routine ends, Wi-Fi and mobile data can return to their previous states.

How to access it
- Open Settings.
- Tap Modes and routines.
- Tap Discover at the bottom.
- Scroll to Advanced routines.
- Tap Check Wi-Fi status for gaming.
- Review or customize the routine.
- Tap Save.

How the routine works
If: Game is being played
Then: Get Wi-Fi strength
If: Wi-Fi strength ≤ 2 bars → Wi-Fi OFF → Mobile data ON → Show notification
Else: Show notification with Wi-Fi strength
When routine ends: Wi-Fi and mobile data return to their previous status.

⚠️ Note:
Switching to mobile data doesn't guarantee a better connection.
It simply prevents the phone from continuing to use a weak Wi-Fi signal based on the routine's 2-bar threshold.
Also, using mobile data may consume your cellular data allowance.
