If you’ve ever wondered how you’re supposed to aim a NASP Genesis bow, this video is for you. I’ve gotten a lot of questions from archers and coaches asking where to look, what reference points to use, and how to be consistent when shooting a Genesis bow for NASP.
I show the visual references I use on the Genesis bow, how those line up with the target, and what the sight picture looks like from my perspective. I also overlay an image of the bow on the target so you can clearly see what you should be looking for.
This is a simple, repeatable aiming method that works well for NASP archers, beginners, and coaches teaching large groups. There’s no guesswork and no complicated explanation, just a clear way to aim consistently.
After explaining the aiming method, I shoot a full NASP style scoring round with the @GenesisArchery bow for the Backyard Archery Championships and submit this score as part of the event.
