Prawn here with a look at an upgrade I made to my TV. I've been a fan of Philips Hue Sync for a while and when I upgraded my TV to an LG C5 recently I decided that I missed Ambilight that I had on my old TV, so i bought a 65 inch Philips Hue Gradient Strip and then discovered the LG/Hue TV app so I could sync the lighting and I found my happy place.
Here I'm showing you how to add RGB lighting to your TV easily and then how to create an entertainment area so you can sync that lighting with what's on the screen.
In order to do this, you'll need some Philips Hue Lights and the Hue Sync TV app:

You can also do it with a Hue Sync Box. This is similar to what you can do on PC. I've made videos on those in the past:
