Have you ever ran out of rope in the middle of a macrame project?! 😅 Don’t panic, it’s easy to add a new cord seamlessly into your work!

Note: this method is for right facing square knots. If you tie your square knots from the left, reverse the side you start on for adding rope.

To hide the old ends, simply flip your project around and tuck the ends into the backs of the knots. You can also cut them short and just glue them to the backs if that is easier for you.
