How to create a macrame plant hanger that anyone can make! This is an easy and completely beginner friendly planthanger pattern and would make the perfect handmade gift for the plant lover in your life.

This plant holder is made with the Gathering Knot, Square Knot, and Switch Knot technique. I show you how to make each step by step in the video.

This plant hanger measures 34in (86cm) long. If you wish to make a shorter planter, just cut your ropes shorter and make less switch knots in the top section.

Pot shown in video is 5.5in (14cm) tall and 16in (41cm) around the widest part. Should fit a bigger pot as well!
