Hey guys! So I am going to start posting some shorter tutorials like this on some tips and tricks which I have learnt over the years and have been very useful! When I first started using Illustrator, trying to add a smooth gradient across a full piece of type seemed impossible and it was infuriating after transitioning from Photoshop where it was so easy to do. I can imagine I am not the only one who had this problem, and it was certainly a deterrent for me. Trying to learn how to use a new program is definitely a difficult thing to do, but by learning just some of the most basic tricks will allow you to create almost anything you want. I actually only use a small selection of tools within Illustrator to create everything, so it is just a matter of learning how to use them and what they are capable of!
If you have seen me do things in other videos and would like to know how I did it, just drop a comment below! I will be looking for ideas for other tutorials like this one! I already have a couple of ideas in the works!

Hey guys, this is a design i made for a recruitment challenge to Traingle. This design took me just over 55 minutes to complete but the drawing took me roughly an hour. I am very happy with the overall turn out of this design and i hope everyone at Triangle do to, hopefully enough for them to invite me to join. As you can see, i went for plain white for the text, i thought keeping it simple would make this design stand out more, adding too much to this could have easier ruined the design. Let me know your opinions guys!

Hey guys! Again, this piece simply started off as a practice piece and I wasnt anticipating it turning out this well, which is why I hadnt recorded the physical drawing process of the lettering! I will definitely be uploading more speed arts to come where I include the drawing process, so apologies for this, I know a lot of you would like to see this part of the process. Aside from that, I absolutely love this piece, I think it has a cool flow to it and it just looks right, I dont really know what it is about it that I like so much, I just think it flows well. Hey guys, here is another wall mural video from the Greenhouse in MediaCityUK. From the views on my last video in comparison to the previous logo videos, you guys arent that interested in this, and more interested in the digital work. Im going to be uploading these anyway for my personal progress timeline which is my youtube channel.
Anyway, this is an anamorphic typographic piece i did on the walls at the entrance of the room. The company moving in is called UP Accelerator, so it made sense to use their name, anyway, this one pretty much speaks for itself. I suppose its kinda different to my usual wall mural work, so i hope more of you enjoy this. Thanks guys for the support and helping me reach 14,000 subscribers before christmas. I may be uploading 1 or 2 more wall mural videos before christmas.
(Yes, I know ive used this song before, but its a great track and I didnt have time to look for one since im handing this in as part of my project tomorrow)
