Hey guys! So it's been a while since I posted a speed art video, and I wanted to change it up a bit because I am aware that speed arts are quite boring these days, so I thought that I might start to talk about specific subjects over the speed art videos to make them more interesting? This is where I need you guys feedback. Is it better like this, or better with just music?
Anyway, to the subject of the video. In this video I am talking about Skillshare; discussing the benefits, why you should use it, and how it has personally helped me. I really do recommend you at least head over to the Skillshare website and check it out for yourself, there is an abundance of amazing content on there and by purchasing a membership, you have full access to everything on Skillshare. So put that into perspective, $0.99 for 3 months worth of unlimited access to everything on the website... it honestly is madness!
I know Im really plugging this to you guys, but that is because this is something which I truly believe will be beneficial to anyone who want's to learn. Having had Skillshare for a little over a year now, I can safely say it is 100% worth the price.

Hey guys! Again, this piece simply started off as a practice piece and I wasnt anticipating it turning out this well, which is why I hadnt recorded the physical drawing process of the lettering! I will definitely be uploading more speed arts to come where I include the drawing process, so apologies for this, I know a lot of you would like to see this part of the process. Aside from that, I absolutely love this piece, I think it has a cool flow to it and it just looks right, I dont really know what it is about it that I like so much, I just think it flows well. Hey guys, here is another wall mural video from the Greenhouse in MediaCityUK. From the views on my last video in comparison to the previous logo videos, you guys arent that interested in this, and more interested in the digital work. Im going to be uploading these anyway for my personal progress timeline which is my youtube channel.
Anyway, this is an anamorphic typographic piece i did on the walls at the entrance of the room. The company moving in is called UP Accelerator, so it made sense to use their name, anyway, this one pretty much speaks for itself. I suppose its kinda different to my usual wall mural work, so i hope more of you enjoy this. Thanks guys for the support and helping me reach 14,000 subscribers before christmas. I may be uploading 1 or 2 more wall mural videos before christmas.
(Yes, I know ive used this song before, but its a great track and I didnt have time to look for one since im handing this in as part of my project tomorrow)

Hey guys! So this tutorial is something I have been meaning to make for a while now! I know a good few of you have requested I make some sort of template that you can use to practice your letterforms, rather than simply trying to copy what I do on screen, so here it is!
I have basically drawn out the basic shape of each letter, vectorised them to make them neater and easier to use, and turned it into a template/guide for you guys to use! I have also included some arrows too, to show you where to start each stroke, an which direction each stroke should go in. There are also some short and simple instructions at the bottom which tell you where thick and thin strokes should be used. The template/guide is quite self explanatory, however, I wanted to make this video to show you guys how to use it in case anyone was unsure, and also to help promote it so more of you guys know that it is available for free!
The reason I include the fact that this is free is because I know a lot of lettering artists out there only give these to people who sign up to their online courses or workshops. While I totally understand why they do this, of course to make some money from it, I am fully aware that a lot of you dont have money to sign up to these sorts of courses, and there isnt very much that is freely available to help you improve your hand lettering skills! I know this from personal experience from when I first started, I learnt simply by looking at other peoples work and trying to understand the letterforms. I had no guides or help, it was simply all about doing my research and studying other artists work!
While this is very good practice, it is also a long and tedious process, so having some form of guidelines to follow should hopefully help you guys improve your skills at a more steady rate! I would still definitely recommend constantly looking through other artists work as this is hugely beneficial and a very important step towards improving and expanding on your styles and idea!
By all means, feel free to sign up to any of these online courses or workshops from other artists out there because there will be much more info about hand lettering and much more in depth tutorials than what I am putting out. Most of these people are pretty established artists and have way more experience than myself, so feel free to search around for some of these if you dont mind spending a little bit of money. It is worth it!
