Ever wonder how to get that Hollywood film look with Color Grading and Color Correction? Today I will show you the introduction to and principles of color correction and color grading! This is a much requested tutorial on how to color grade your DSLR footage to look sharper or to look like film. In this three part video series I will show you the difference in color correction/ color grading. How to study and what to look for in different films and their colors. What different formats and codecs mean and how they affect your footage and colors. Different color grading software's and plug ins such as Davinci Resolve and Adobe Speed Grade. Different tools with in the software like three way color corrector, curves, luminance, hues, saturation, and more.
Color Grading is a long task and cannot be learned by knowing numbers and values. It takes years of coloring, studying, and DOING. I am not a professional colorist, in fact I've only been color grading for about two years so... there's that. Take everything I say in this video with a grain of salt and if I say something inaccurate or something not right, feel free to tell me.

The software I will be using is
Adobe After Effects CC
Adobe Premiere Pro CC
Adobe Speed Grade CC
