At long last, I have finally completed my fifth "How These Trains Should've Sounded" (HTTSHS) video in this series. This video took me way too long for me to make because I had so much stuff to do irl. So if anyone was constantly begging for the 5th video to come out, say no more. And seek some help. And no complaints. Only compliments. I was feeling quite burnt out finishing this and I do not want anyone complaining and saying stuff like “where did this go,” or “why didn’t you use that?” Otherwise, your comments will be deleted.

1) Knowing that the whistle model used on the polar express locomotive is a lunkenheimer 3 chime (which can be seen during the caribou crossing scene when the train finally gets underway) even though Sierra #3's lima 5 chime was dubbed over it somehow. So yeah I decided to dub ye olde lunk 3 chime from Shay No.4 from the Cass Scenic Railroad and it turned out great! So what do you say, which whistle sounds better, the Lima or the Lunkenheimer? Let me know in the comments and tell me what you think! All opinions are welcome.

2) Remember the Twilight Zone? The old classic show of suspenseful twists and turns? Well apparently from one of the episodes, we see a Southern Pacific Coast Daylight passenger train rapidly approaching the crossing where a damsel driving a 1959 Ford Fairlane (pls don't sue me) but the horn was originally dubbed with a Leslie A-200 (which would be overexaggerated with the doppler effect at the end) even though No.6001 was using a Nathan M5, which I had to borrow a sample from wmuzeke's video of an Amtrak F40PH no.345 with a Nathan M5 hoping to fix the sound design. I also used a sound sampling from Tom_Tractor_Trailerscotraildotcodotuk's First Generation Diesels Volume 1 for the engine sound.

3) Ah yes, Shining Time Station. That one show which was a spinoff of Thomas and Friends, which includes some clips showing real trains! Apparently there were some clips which were dubbed with the wrong sound effects, and have narration and/or music dubbed over it, including the City of New Orleans music video.

4) The old Doug Jones video from 1995 is truly a treasure trove for many, but for me, originally dubbed with the wrong horn and whistle sounds from said film (although in a low budget during production) so I have decided to fix that problem. Well, some of it anyway.

5) In the old 1969 film of the Golden Spike, the old 2-4-0 (unknown number) storms its way across the screen. Originally dubbed witha Star Brass 5 Chime whistle, I have noticed that a few seconds earlier, a 3 chime whistle can be seen just before we cut to the pacing shot and runby of said train from said film.

6) More Shining Time Station footage, which I don't really know if they were originally produced by another company like Mainline Motion Pictures or anyone else, but the one with UP 844(4) at the end is from the UP's very own Eighty Four Forty Four film from 1981, which STS has used some footage (although I didn't use all of it) for their opening and ending sequences. Man, talk about a wave of nostalgia, am I right?
