From June 29, the LHC will go into its third long shutdown. Over four years, a major upgrade will unfold, leading to a new and improved accelerator: HiLumi-LHC. These High Luminosity versions of the LHC will probe particle physics even further to help better understand the fundamental reality of the universe, and hope to discover something that exists beyond our models.
