Before you get upset plz consider it condemns men and women equally. Itâs about fornication vs. married reproduction. The delivery is very blunt... but the truth is the truth. It explains how the fallen angels made the Nephilim Giants, as well as a few other interesting topics.
Itâs about pleasure of the flesh & fornication, not blaming one sex. Peopleâs thoughts are affected by âmanâs beliefsâ as opposed to leaning on Gods wisdom:
Proverbs 3: 5-6 KJV
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Some people say that the Book Of Enoch or the Book Of Giants canât be true because angels donât have sexual reproductive organs, so they couldnât have mated with human women as in Genesis 6, King James Version
6 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
1 Timothy 4 King James Version
4 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
7 But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.
8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
9 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.
10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
11 These things command and teach.
12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
I think itâs perfectly good, and ALL things are good, if done in a way respecting Godâs commandments. in a stable monogamous relationship where people get married and intend to procreate, itâs ALL blessed. Itâs a miracle and a mystery, given to man by God and itâs one of the most beautiful and meaningful things mankind can do on earth and with our lives. But having sex with multiple partners, no commitment, no hope of a ârighteous outcomeâ like a family and children, then weâre getting into the territory of fornication and pleasuring the flesh for no good purpose. And I think the text lays it out pretty well, ie, itâs the path to destruction. Thatâs my interp.
âThose who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." George Santayana (1905).
Later, 1948, Winston Churchill in a speech to the House of Commons, changed the quote slightly when he paraphrased,; 'Those who fail to learn from history are condemned to repeat it.'
