About me: many people are asking me about my faith and my level of biblical knowledge. So, my family history/ tradition is Protestant, I was baptized as a youth, and have a family bible, but more for show than practice. My home life and education consisted of the western-scientific atheist doctrine, that there is no God and we are all an evolutionary accident. Regardless of my parents living and believing that way, I have always believed in a great creator (even when I believed in the big bang and the globe model) and had an interest in God and the history surrounding the bible, also, I have read the bible throughout my life and have always paid attention to, and studied in, many areas of secular science and history. I now, since becoming a FE’er and after much study, contemplation and experience, realize anew the INCREDIBLE knowledge contained in the bible. I now realize it is extremely accurate. This makes me a believer of Jesus, the flood, the giants, and more... and everything I've seen from the scriptures is perfect. They describe the past, the present and the future, and reveal the nature of the Creator, and the world in a way that no other book or religion can. The scriptures are proof of a higher power. As is the beauty of His creation all around us.
