Insights into Mathematics | How the Algebra of Boole simplifies circuit analysis (II) | MathFoundations 265 | N J Wildberger @njwildberger | Uploaded 5 years ago | Updated 1 day ago
We review the basic logic gates from the Algebra of Boole framework, and then show how this alternative to Boolean algebra allows us to analyse a variety of explicit circuits, coming up with in all cases a canonical Boole polynumber to encode the circuit. This will give us more experience encoding different kinds of gates and recognizing the important relation between the logic and the algebra.

This video will be part of the Boole's Logic and Circuit Analysis online course which is being developed by Norman. The course will become available hopefully next year, to Patrons of Norman's channel, and will provide prospective electrical engineers with a thorough grounding in the application of Boole's original ideas to modern circuit analysis.
