A couple of weeks ago, I traveled to Venice and visited Murano. The small island just off of Venice is renowned for its glassmaking tradition, and I took the opportunity to visit a factory and see up close how Murano glass is made.
"Wave Murano Glass" is a glassblowing factory established in 2017. You are free to visit the location, and you can also take guided tours and see Murano glass demonstrations while learning tips on how the iconic glass is produced. In this short clip, I filmed the guys working at Wave in action: you can follow their workflow, their moves, and how they work together.
