Popsori | How Korea's education system influences K-pop and why it's ultra competitive @Popsori | Uploaded October 2019 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
Korea has one of the most competitive, cutthroat, and highest-ranking education systems in the world. This education system affects everything in Korea, including K-pop.

I used to teach in the Korean education system as an instructor at Konkuk University. From my experience, there are many parallels between a Korean student and a K-pop idol, such as the suneung (Korean SATs) and deung-su (rank or curve).

Let's break down how much Korea's education system influences K-pop.
