Popsori | The most underrated factor in YG Entertainment’s comeback @Popsori | Uploaded August 2021 | Updated October 2024, 2 minutes ago.
In 2019, YG Entertainment went through one of the most horrible events in modern K-pop history. Called the Burning Sun Scandal, the fiasco ripped through YG label, as lot of celebrities were hit with a slew of crimes.
Among them were Seungri of Big Bang and Yang Hyun-suk, the CEO of YG Entertainment. Both would be kicked out of both YG Entertainment and the entertainment industry.
Afterward, YG Entertainment needed a new savior to lead them. Someone that could steer YG from the Burning Sun Scandal and clean up the label. Fortunately, they would have that difference-maker. A huge factor.
While Blackpink is the biggest factor in YG staying relevant, there’s another huge factor that turned around YG Entertainment. One that’s severely underrated by most K-pop fans. Today, we’ll learn about this person.
