Zionism wants to conflate religion with ethnicity and religion with political ideology. This is obviously absurd but it serves a bifold purpose: (1) it creates a sense of superiority based on the imperialist ideology of racism as the explanation for their actions are now justified through 'cleansing the world'; (2) criticism of zionism means criticism of religion which implies criticism of jews. The IHRA definition is being pushed into our institutions because our governments want to protect the Zionist imperial project in the middle east.
