Wondering how in the world you’re supposed to potty your baby when you’re not at home?
Here’s how I do it in the car!
I keep it really simple.
I hold my baby on my lap, take off his pants and diaper, grab a wipe, and put the Top Hat Potty between my legs.
Then I hold him right over the potty.
That’s it.
In this video, you can see exactly how I position him and the potty so we can take care of a pee or poop right there in the car.
Once we’re finished, pants go back on and we move on with our day. In this case, that meant nursing him afterward. 💛
Elimination communication does NOT mean you have to stay home all day waiting for your baby to pee.
Babies have to go when you’re at home.
They have to go when you’re out.
And sometimes…they have to go in the car!
Having a simple setup and knowing how to offer the potty on the go makes EC so much more doable in real life.
