To shape curves, I bend a thin strip of MDF into the desired form and secure it with CA glue and a few dabs of hot glue. Then I rough-cut along the curve with the bandsaw and clean it up using a flush trim bit on the router. Final touch: remove the guide with a sharp chisel for a smooth, finished edge.
