In this video, I go through the total revenue I've made from my channel and show you what happens when you stop uploading for 3 years.
You might be surprised, I certainly was.
After working on my channel on and off for a couple of years I finally turned on monetisation in around the middle of 2017. I kept at for about another year before I started full time work in photography and made the decision to let the channel take a back seat.
It's something I deeply regret, I wish I had kept up posting even to a lesser extent for the last three years.
What was really interesting though was logging back in and tracking how much ad revenue the channel had generated passively while I was offline. Strangely enough 70% of all the channel's revenue had come after I stopped posting.
If nothing else, this just goes to show that when you feel like throwing in the towel, you could be closer to your goal than you think.
