I'm currently almost a month into my 2 month Mediterranean holiday and thought this would be a good chance to run through my minimalist content creation kit. Here is everything I am using to shoot, edit, upload and back up photos whilst travelling Europe WITHOUT a laptop.
Canon 750d
Canon 24mm 2.8 EF-S lens
Canon G7xii
Joby Gorillapod
GoPro Hero 5 Black
No Brand Float Handle
SD to Lightning Adapter
WD Passport Wireless Pro 1tb
No Brand EBay Memory Card Case
Mophie 6040mah fastcharge Powerbank
My travel shoot/edit workflow:
- Shoot on "Shade" White Balance setting
- Import RAW files to iPad/iPhone with SD to Lightning adapter
- Favourite best images
- Import Favourites to VSCOcam app
- Apply "A6" filter and make edits/adjustments
- Export photos in LARGE setting
Afterwards, backup up SD card to My Passport Wireless Pro. Then you can delete RAW files from your iOS device. Edited photos are backed up to Dropbox
If enough people are interested I'll make a video showing this workflow :)
