When the last bell rings, most kids head out—but not everyone leaves. My room stays full of students hanging out until the hallways clear. After that, it’s my end-of-day reset: cleaning up, organizing supplies, making sure nothing is left unfinished, and giving a few students a ride home. This simple routine keeps tomorrow from feeling overwhelming.
