A few people asked how I get my vintage curls and this is it! I used to be a devotee of the pin curl but recently tried out foam rollers and I am IN LOVE. They give such a smooth curl (with the aid of Lottabody setting lotion). They are easy to put in, easy to take out - cheap, OKAY to sleep in (read - you have to get used to it but it's OKAY)
You are not going to look particularly sexy when you've got the in that's for sure but boy do they work! The curls hold for such a long time, and you are abl;e to style your hair in many different ways as the curl drops out day by day, If you want to leave the curls that is. It is also really easy to re-roll of an evening should you want a tight set again on days 2, 3 & 4 - Give them a go if you haven't already. Just make sure you have bought enough if you have long or thick hair. Some girls are able to just use 8 or 10 but you may find you need 20 -30. It all depends. Let me know how it goes ladies xx
