Day 19 of running one mile everyday in July and this was my strongest run yet.
I felt confident, relaxed, and weirdly creative mid-stride, so I grabbed three cameras to capture it: the Sony A7SIII, and the DJI Osmo Nano. Brought everything into DaVinci Resolve after and pushed a cinematic retro glow that’s been living in my head for a while.
Over the last year I’ve been getting closer to my actual vlogging style, mixing bigger cameras with action cameras to get the shots I want, then color grading them exactly how I saw them when I was just sitting on the couch watching YouTube videos wishing I could do it. And now I can. That hit me today.
I set up the shot, ran the route, and it all came together like I pictured it. Same as running, you never hit perfect, but you keep moving.
