First time ever using a 360 camera and I started with the Insta360 X5.

I know, I know… the Insta360 X6 just launched. 😂 But I’m not complaining—especially since Insta360 sent me the X5 to test, create with, and have some fun.

And so far? This thing is incredible.

It’s definitely not your typical action camera. Shooting 360 video completely changes how you think about framing, camera angles, and capturing a moment because you can basically choose the shot AFTER you film it.

I love trying new camera gear that makes me create differently, and the X5 has been exactly that.

So if you’re not jumping to the new X6 and you’re looking for a 360 camera for filmmaking, vlogging, action shots, or creative content, I’d still recommend the Insta360 X5 hands down.

Now I just need to see what kind of ridiculous shots I can get with this thing.
