I recently bought a Van De Graaff Generator which I remember from my school science lessons. This generated static electricity at very low current. I wanted to build a new piece of my Great Ball Contraption that used electrostatics to move objects. This works by charging the ball with a positive or negative charge so it attracts the next oppositely charges terminal.
