Hello, my lovely family and friends. I hope you are all doing amazingly well by God's grace. This is the day that the Lord has made, so let us rejoice and be glad in it.
***Ingredients***
600g All Purpose/Plain Flour/soft flour
350g Sugar
1 1/2tsp Salt
20g/2tbsp Baking Powder
200ml Vegetable Oil
200ml Evaporated Milk
Eggs - 6 (if large) or 7 (if medium)
Vanila - 2tsp
Cocoa Powder (Optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F) and grease your baking tin.
2. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs until light and fluffy.
3. Add sugar and whisk until the mixture turns pale and creamy.
4. Add the vanilla extract and mix until just combined
5. Add your dry ingredients and milk by alternating leave about 2 tablespoons of the flour
6. Add vegetable oil and gently mix it in and add in the 2 tablespoons of the flour
7. Pour the batter into your baking tin and bake for 35 - 40 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
8. Let it cool before slicing and enjoying with tea or juice!
